The magistrates who judged the 'procés' in the Supreme Court (TS) have refused to grant amnesty for embezzlement to the former vice president of the Govern Oriol Junqueras and the rest of those convicted for the illegal referendum of 1-O. The investigating judge, has also refused to pardon the embezzlement to the former president of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont and maintains his arrest warrant. The Criminal Chamber has adopted this decision after studying the reports of the accusations -- Prosecutor's Office, State Attorney's Office and Vox -- and the defenses on the applicability of the amnesty to the different facts attributed to the leader of ERC and the ex-consejeros. 01 JULY 2024 David Zorrakino / Europa Press 07/01/2024 (Europa Press via AP)
