Federal Police and state police officers joined in the search for criminals inside the slum where nearly 200 gang members escaped from Vila Cruzeiro on Thrusday, after five days of clashes. Brazilian President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, have sent 800 army troops and marines to help the police.
