Jane Fonda was arrested in November 1970 for allegedly trying to smuggle a large stash of pills through the Cleveland airport (charges were later dropped). Fonda, arriving from Canada, was detained by U.S. Customs agents after a large stash of diet pills, Valium, and tranquilizers was discovered in her luggage. The actress, then 32, was booked on the narcotics rap at the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office, where the below mug shot was taken. Following her release from custody, Fonda was processed and photographed for a separate crime, her alleged kicking of a local cop during the airport incident. The Thin White Duke, 29 at the time, was nabbed along with Iggy Pop and two other codefendants at a Rochester hotel following a concert. Bowie was held in the Monroe County jail for a few hours before being released. Actor Mickey Rourke was arrested in November 2007 by Miami Beach police and charged with driving under the influence. According to cops, the "Sin City" star was seen making an illegal U-turn on his Vespa scooter and then weaving across the road. Once stopped, police noted that Rourke had bloodshot eyes and smelled of booze. He also didn't perform well on a series of sobriety tests. On June 23, 1996, Robert Downey, Jr. was arrested for driving drunk and being in possession of Mexican Black Tar heroin, crack, cocaine and an unloaded .357 Magnum revolver. On November 6, Malibu Municipal Judge Lawrence Mira sentenced Downey to three years probation for weapons and drugs charges.
