These are some of James Bond?s most iconic cars, boats and planes from the 007 films going on show in a new exhibition. More than 30 of the legendary secret agent?s vehicles will be on display at the ?Bond in Motion? exhibition at The Petersen Automotive Museum in LA - the largest collection of them ever displayed in the US at the same time. Along with Bond?s most famous car - the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 - highlights of the exhibition include a 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 Submarine from ?The Spy Who Loved Me? and a 1999 Heron XC-70 Parachute Parahawk from ?The World Is Not Enough". Some of the quirkiest vehicles used by 007 in his big screen adventures include the Neptune Submarine, Dune Buggy and Citroen from ?For Your Eyes Only?, the Bath O Sub Escaper Pod and Wetbike from ?The Spy Who Loved Me? and the Tuk Tuk Taxi from ?Octopussy?. Bond?s motorbikes include a BMW R1200C from ?Tomorrow Never Dies? and Cagiva 600 W16 from ?GoldenEye?, while the Q Boat from ?The World is Not Enough? and the Plastron Boat from ?Moonraker? are among his boats. Bond fans will also be able to see a 1974 AMC Hornet from ?The Man With The Golden Gun? and a 1985 Aston Martin V8 from ?The Living Daylights?. The exhibition will open just in time for the release of 007?s 25th film, ?No Time to Die?. The Petersen?s executive director Terry L. Karges told Forbes: ?James Bond is an international pop culture icon and the vehicles he drives are an integral part of his character. ?The Petersen is excited to showcase so many of the series? most well-known vehicles. ?We are sure that there will be something to satisfy every generation of Bond fan.? ?Bond in Motion? will be located in the Petersen?s Mullin Family Grand Salon and runs from September 25 to October 30, 2022. Pre-purchased tickets are required and are available from petersen.org/tickets priced at $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $11 for under-17s.
