The three Russian revolutionary leaders left to right are, Joseph Stalin, Leon Trotsky and Nikolai Lenin shown Nov. 6, 1947, who were among the founders of the third (Communist) International or the Comintern, established in 1919 on the heels of the Red Revolution. Trotsky was exiled to Turkey in the late 20's, then wend to Mexico where he was assassinated. Before he died, he announced the formation of the 4th International, but nothing ever came of it.
