Marilyn Monroe was found nude, dead in the bedroom of her Brentwood, California home clutching her telephone by her live-in housekeeper Mrs. Eunice Murray on August 5, 1962. She was 36 years old. However her death was ruled as an overdose of sleeping pills by Los Angeles County Coroner, many believe it was rather murder.
